Q&A If I'm moving and certified...

Virginia or bust!
Do I have to re-registar within the state? I'm moving from MD to VA in the Charlottesville area.

Hi Katlyn,

No as you have a national certification not a state license. Hawaii is the only state so far that licenses medical coders.

Rosetta D, I can answer your question, but Laureen is right. I am from Virginia and there is no state license for medical coders. All you need is that nice national certification.
